Unshakable – “July 25-31”
“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,”

In a world that constantly shifts, God offers something solid: an unshakable kingdom, identity, and hope. This theme invites campers to explore what it means to stand firm in Christ no matter what comes their way.
We are so happy to be returning to Family Camp again this year as your deans! We are looking forward to seeing you all this summer and to again hear how God has been working in each of your lives.This past year as we have been reading through scripture individually and as a family it has been fun to find all of the different times that God’s word uses the phrases “shaken” “not shaken” or “unshakeable”. The idea of being unshakeable truly is a theme that can be traced through the Old Testament to the New and straight through to the end of time when the author of Hebrews talks about Jesus returning and shaking away everything that can be shaken away and only the unshakeable things remaining. Our prayer for you all as your deans this year, is that as we approach camp, that God will be working in each of our lives to be removing the shakeable things and that this week of Family Camp can truly be a week where God’s UNSHAKEABLE Kingdom can be established in our lives!
