We are excited for what God is doing and is going to do this year as we are Seeking Him for his presence to change our lives this week.  And Michelle and I are excited to once again be serving as your deans for Family Camp 2025! Our theme for this year is “A New Heritage” and our theme verse is Isaiah 43:18-19, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Because Bay Shore has been around since 1911 and as a Bay Shore Family we have been growing in the Lord for 115 years sometimes we get stuck looking back at all of the wonderful things God has been faithful for for generations and we forget to look up and see the Brand New Amazing things He is doing right now in front of us.  Michelle and I have been on a journey of a new beginning; this past September we bought a new house.  A new house that needed to have the entire upstairs gutted down to the studs and completely remodeled. But every time I get to learn a new skill in wiring or hanging drywall or plumbing I am reminded how God has provided this New Thing for us and through it, if we are looking up to perceive it, this house can be a blessing to us and our new neighbors that we now get to share the love of Jesus with.  Where is God doing a New Thing in your life this year?  Where is He starting a New Heritage for you and your family that when loved and nurtured properly, in Christ, can be a way in the wilderness, a stream in the wasteland for the next 115 years?  This week at camp I am praying for you that you do not leave the same as you were when you came in. I am praying that God speaks to your heart and you are able to start something New with Him this week.
