Jim Keller
Saturday Evening Evangelist
Jim Keller was born the son of a carpenter, the fourth born of five, and grew up in Southfield, Michigan. His ancestors came out of Yale and Elkton, MI. Throughout his growing up years his parents and whole family were heavily involved in managing a construction business, along with ministry in music and leadership at their local church in Detroit. Jim’s formal education included Bethel University (Mishawaka, IN) and Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, KY). As a career-long ordained minister, he has served in the Michigan Region of the Missionary Church as a local Church Pastor, Church Planter, Church Planting Director, Denominational leader, and District Superintendent/Regional Director.
Jim and Brenda Keller are fifty-one years married, have two married children, and five grandchildren. Now, after a life-long formal ministry, they live in Grand Blanc, Michigan, learning to be neighbors and missionaries in their neighborhood, filling pulpits, creating specific teachings for prevailing, earnest prayer, mountain moving prayer, and various scripture passages that inspire passionate Christian living.

“Seeking God Prayer”
Learning about “Asking, Seeking and Knocking Prayer” with Passion and Focus
Seeking God Prayer:
…is focused on passionate pleading for the manifest presence of God, the Glory of God, and the power of God.…is fervent prayer with expectation and faith in God to empower ministry, draw people to Christ, soften hard hearts, bring conviction of sin,
repentance of sin, openness and surrender to God, and empowerment for Spirit-led, Spirit-filled living.…is anchored in prayers of faith, the Biblical promises of God, expectation for God to do the impossible, and to do miracles, signs and wonders for His Kingdom.

Our study will be titled "Raising Disciples" and we'll be sharing ways that we as parents can help show Jesus to our families and encourage them to grow in their own faith. Parenting is a work in progress and we know that we don't have it all figured out, but we want to continually be working on ways to raise our children to be disciples for God. We'll dig into God's word and see how he provides wisdom and discernment for leading our families with humility and grace.

Description of the Bible Study:
Let's be honest—we all know what it feels like to sleepwalk through life, scrolling our way into numbness, chasing distractions, and still coming up empty. But what if there's a better way? What if the ancient wisdom of Ephesians could shake us awake to the vibrant, deeply satisfying life Jesus actually promised?
Join us for five sessions delving deep into the radical, beautiful, and honestly disruptive letter to the Ephesians. We'll unpack how God’s big, cosmic story intersects with your daily life—your friendships, your identity, your purpose, and even your scrolling habits. We'll discover why the way of Jesus isn't just a religious box to check but the path toward the kind of joy and meaning you’re desperately craving.
Come ready to engage, ask tough questions, laugh a lot, and leave with a clearer sense of who you are and what you're here for.

We often hear that "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35), but what does that really mean in our daily lives? This five-day study explores the heart of generosity—why it matters, how it reflects God’s love, and how it transforms both the giver and the receiver. Together, we’ll look at God’s ultimate generosity, the many ways we can give beyond money, and how trusting God in our giving leads to joy and abundance. Join us as we discover how a lifestyle of generosity can bring deeper purpose, fulfillment, and blessing!
